In 2007, my husband and I were married in NYC for half the average cost of a wedding in most areas. Even if we had possessed the means to plan a more extravagant wedding, I wouldn't have changed a thing. Planning a budget wedding forced us to think outside the box, and the end result was a more creative, personal, unique celebration that focused on love rather than material goods.
I started this blog in January 2009 to prove to other brides on a budget that their weddings won't be just as nice as the more expensive type ...they'll be even better!
